Join the team as a postdoctoral fellow

The Human Memory Lab, directed by Dr. Matthew Grilli, and the Neuroscience of Emotion and Thought Lab, directed by Dr. Jessica Andrews-Hanna are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to join a collaborative and co-supervised NIH-funded project on human aging, Alzheimer’s disease risk, autobiographical thinking, well-being, and brain network analysis at the University of Arizona. A unique feature of this project is the novel application of smartphone applications to track cognition and emotion naturalistically. The postdoctoral fellow will be closely involved in neuroimaging data collection, data pre-processing, and data analysis, including that of resting state functional connectivity. In addition to new data collection, there is ample existing data for immediate analysis. The postdoctoral fellow will have many opportunities to deliver presentations and author publications arising from this project.

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience or a related field, with a strong interest in brain network analyses, aging, and/or memory. A solid data analysis and statistical background is also preferred. The position is for 1+ years with a flexible start date, available to start as early as February 2024.
